How to buy a hero in Thetan Arena

Welcome to this post, where we are going to see how you can buy a hero in Thetan Arena and start playing with him.

For this, we will use Binance to buy BNB and the metamask wallet, as they are the two most commonly used tools. You can use another Exchange or wallet, as long as it is compatible with the binance Smart chain and Thetan Arena.

If you have experience using binance, you can skip some steps and go to the ones you have more doubts about. Also, if you don’t have an account with binance, and you want to follow the steps, you can create an account just below.

Buy BNB

Let’s see in detail how you can buy BNB. The first thing we are going to do is to login to Binance, if you don’t have an account you can create one here. With your account, you must make a deposit to have funds and be able to buy BNB. You can deposit funds with your credit card, to have the balance directly and without having to wait or bank transfer, although it will take a few days to be able to use it.

With your first deposit, whether it is euros, dollars or another currency, you must go to markets, and look for your currency with respect to Binance coin (BNB). In my case, EUR/BNB. Here go to the red sell button, and exchange your currency, in my case euros, for BNB. We use BNB because the commissions on the Binance network are paid with this cryptocurrency, as happens with the Ethereum network with ETH. You can also buy USDT (Tether), but you should always have a small amount of BNB in your metamask wallet to pay for commissions, less than $1. With 10-15$ of BNB is enough for several transactions and not run out of BNB.

Once you have BNB, you must click on the cryptocurrency, and click on withdraw. Go to your metamask, and click on the address, you will see that an address is copied when you click on it. You must enter this address in Binance to withdraw your BNB from Binance to Metmask. It is very important to enter the BEP20 network, and the amount you want to withdraw. The commission is $0.80. Confirm that the information is correct and confirm the transaction with the codes.

Open your metamask wallet, and if you have the Binance network configured, the amount of BNB you have transferred should appear in a few minutes. If you don’t have the Binance network configured, I recommend you look up how to configure the Binance smart chain network in Metamask, so you can use it, without it, you won’t be able to buy a hero in Thetan Arena. It is very simple and you will only have to copy the parameters it tells you.

Going from BNB to WBNB

Now, the next step is to move our BNB to WBNB or wrapped BNB, which is very simple. If you open your metamask, click on BNB, and swap. Here, in swap to, indicate wbnb. I recommend you not to indicate all the BNB, as you will need to pay for commissions, so leave one amount of BNB, and the other one swap to WBNB, which has the same value as BNB. Indicate the amount and click on review swap. Click on swap and confirm the transaction in your wallet.

You can also use pancakeswap in trade. With the same steps as above, and convert your BNB to WBNB. This step is necessary, because to buy heroes in the Marketplace, we will need WBNB, which is the currency to buy them.

Buying your hero

Now, just go to the Marketplace of theran arena. Log in and connect your metamask wallet if you don’t have it linked. Search for the hero you are interested in, looking at all the important aspects before buying it.

Click on buy now, and confirm the transaction in your wallet. After a few minutes, you will see your new hero in your profile.

Rent a hero

If you want to rent a hero, the operation is the same as with the purchase. You will also need WBNB for this.

Here, once you have found the hero and the number of battles you want, click on rent, confirm the transaction in your wallet and that’s it. You will be able to use that hero for the agreed number of battles. Renting is a way to start playing and not having to invest so much money buying a legendary or epic hero, which can be quite expensive if you just want to start playing.

Once you have finished the battles with the rented hero, you can continue renting or if you have earned enough THC, think about buying a hero in the Marketplace.

Buying chests

Finally, you can also buy chests, instead of buying heroes. Although with chests there is the risk that you might get a bad hero or the luck that you might get a very good hero.

Most players prefer to buy in the Marketplace, because you know what you are going to get and the price you pay. Chests have a more random factor, which means that you can get a good or bad hero, and with the same amount, you could get a better hero in the Marketplace, or the opposite case.

The chests are not bought with WBNB, but with the token of the platform, THC. In case you want the legendary chest, you will have to use THG. So first look at the price of the chest you want, and then we will need to buy THC or THG, depending on whether you want a legendary chest or not.

To buy THC or THG, we can use a centralized Exchange like gate.io or use our bnb in our metamask wallet, and buy it on pancakeswap.

If we go to pancakeswap, we will go to trade and Exchange. Here, at the top we will indicate BNB or the cryptocurrency we want to trade, and underneath we will look for THC or THG, depending on which one you want to get. You can find the contract on the official Thetan arens website or search for the token on coingecko or coinmarketcap to paste it into pancakeswap.

Paste the contract if you don’t see the token when you search for it, and it’s a way to make sure you are buying the token and it’s not another token with the same name.

Indicate the amount you want to use of BNB or the other token, and you can see how much THC or THG you get. Check that it is enough to buy a chest or the amount of chests you have in mind. If so, click on swap, confirm swap and confirm the transaction in your wallet.

This way you will already have THC or THG for the chests. Go back to the marketpalce of thetan arena and go to thetan boxes. Here, select the box you want, and click on purchase. Confirm in your wallet and that’s it. In this way, you will have your chest open and you can see the hero you got.
