How to Get Started in Axie Infinity From 0 | Beginners Guide

The first thing we need to do is to log in to our Binance account, make a deposit and buy Ethereum.

Once you have deposited funds in your currency, go to markets, search for your currency, in my case euros, and click on the eth/eur pair. Here go to sell, the red button and exchange your euros or your currency for USDT.

With the USDT in our balance, we must withdraw it to our metamask wallet. To do this, we must go to wallet, and look for the tether cryptocurrency and click on withdraw.

Withdraw Ethereum from Binance

Now, open your metamask wallet and click on your address to copy it. With the copied address, go back to binance and paste the address, enter the amount and the network, which you must enter ERC20. Check that everything is correct and that you have entered the ERC20 network and click on confirm, enter the codes and confirm the transaction. Note that the ethereum network has a commission of around 6-7$.

An important aspect is to always have some ethereum in your metamask wallet to pay for commissions, as we will see later in Uniswap, and not to use it all to buy some cryptocurrency.

Now, after a few minutes, you will be able to see your ethereums in your metamask wallet. So we continue with Axie.

Buy your first 3 Axies

The next step is to buy 3 axies, in the axie Marketplace to be able to play. If we go back to the guide, it will take us directly to the Marketplace with the link. Or you can access in the link that I will leave in the description.

Here, you will see how the Marketplace will look like, and we have to log in. You can log in with metamask as we are going to do, click on login with metamask, next and connect and sign in our wallet. We indicate the name, and that’s it. We will have to activate ronin but for the moment it is not necessary.

To finish configuring the account, we have to enter an email and password, and we will have it ready once the email is confirmed.

Now comes one of the most fun parts, which is to buy the 3 axies to start in the game. With ethereum and metamask connected, we just need to choose the 3 axies with which we are going to start. We will go to the Marketplace, and decide which axies we need. It is interesting that a tank axie with many armor cards is very good, as well as healers. We will click on plant that are usually tanks, and look at the stats.

I will leave you a more detailed guide on how to buy the first axies, for the moment let’s see how to buy the 3 and continue with the guide. I recommend you to look carefully and don’t buy the first axies you see, although it can be a bit heavy, take your time before buying your first 3 axies and start in the game.

With our 3 axies purchased, we can go to our profile to see that we really are the owners of these axies, in addition to see the transaction in etherscan. In inventory you will be able to see your axies.

Install Axie Infinity on Computer

The last thing we have left is to install axie on our computer or mobile. It works on mac, Windows and mobile. In the guide click on download, and indicate the computer in my case I’m on Windows. We open the winrar, extract and install the setup.

Now we have to log in, and click on install, start install. Now we click on play, and we will be inside the game. You will see that when you enter the game, your axies do not appear in my axies, but do not worry. Just click on sync axies. Click axies at the bottom left, and sync axies. And you will see how your axies that you have bought in the Marketplace will appear.

Now go to teams, my tems, new team, create a new team. We will place our 3 axies, and we will have our team to start playing. Keep in mind the placement, where the tank is better to put it in front of everything. And you can move the axies wherever you want. Save team, and you will have the team.

Now we will be able to play in adventure or arena.

Install Axie Infinity on iOS and Android

Now we just need to see how to install the game on mobile. Where it is very similar but there are some aspects to consider. Currently axie is not yet in the app store, although we are going to find it this year, but it is not yet known when.  To do this, we will go to the guide with axie mobile that we have been seeing, and click on application download. Log in with your email, and now click on donwload for iOS. Now we will open our email, and we will be able to download it. In iOS, we will have to install testflight previously, being a more closed operating system than Android. Where you will receive a code. With testflight installed, simply click on the link in the email, and it will open in testflight to download axie infinity.

With the app installed, it works the same way on ios or Android, only on ios you need testflight first, it will ask you for a qr code to access the app. To get the qr code, go to the axie Marketplace, and at the top you will see show qr code, and click there to get it. You can take a screenshot of the qr, and go back to the app. Click on choose from photo and select the photo. This will automatically log you into the game and you can start playing.

Now you have axie infinity on your mobile. If you only want to use it on mobile, remember to synchronize the axies here too, or they will not appear. Go back to axies, my axies and sync axies to be able to play from your mobile.
