How to withdraw money from Coinbase Pro: Step by Step

Welcome to this post, where we are going to see how to withdraw money from coinbase pro to your bank account, or to your wallet or other platforms.

We are going to see step by step how you can withdraw your coinbase pro cryptocurrencies to real money and have it in your bank account in an easy and simple way.

Also, let’s see how you can withdraw coinbase pro cryptocurrencies to your wallet like metamask or to other platforms like Binance or KuCoin.

From Coinbase pro to Coinbase

The first step to withdraw your cryptocurrencies to real money is to withdraw them to coinbase. To do this, go to portfolio, and click on withdraw or withdraw. Here we will select the cryptocurrency we want to send to coinbase. I recommend you to sell everything you want to withdraw to USDT or your currency, for example EUR to make it easier. Once you have sold everything to your currency, here we select it.

Click on Enter the amount in amount, if it is all you can click on max, and click on withdraw. You will see that your coinbase balance will immediately show what you have withdrawn from coinbase pro.

In coinbase, you will have to exchange your cryptocurrencies that you want to withdraw for your currency, be it EUR, USD, or another currency. Therefore, it is better to do it on coinbase pro before sending it, to save on commissions, as they are lower than on coinbase.

From Coinbase to your bank account

Once you have your currency in your coinbase account, we will go to your assets and click on it, in my case euros. When you click on it, you will see two tabs on the right in the desktop version, where it says withdraw funds or deposit funds.

With this, we select withdraw funds and indicate the amount we want to withdraw. You can click on withdraw all funds if you wish. We click on continue, and now we must select the way in which we want to receive the money. There are two options, receive it in our credit or debit card instantly, with a commission of 0.55€ or by bank transfer, which usually takes between 1 to 3 business days. In case you do not have any payment method added, it is as simple as clicking on add and add the information.

With this done, we select the method, click on continue and confirm with the codes that coinbase asks you, and with this, the money will be on its way to our bank account.

From Coinbase pro to your wallet

You may want to withdraw your cryptocurrencies to your wallet or another Exchange, either to use them in DEFI platforms, keep them safer with a control by you of the cryptocurrencies in your wallet or other reasons. Let’s see how you can do it.

It’s as simple as going back to coinbase pro and clicking withdraw. Enter the cryptocurrency you want to withdraw, and enter crypto address. In from you will see coinbase pro appear, and in to you must enter the address of the wallet you want to send your cryptocurrencies. Remember to always use the same network that Coinbase pro uses, for example, in USDT, coinbase pro only uses the ERC20 network, the ethereum network.

Once you have pasted the address in to, the platform itself detects if it is correct or not. You will be able to see in the network fee the commission for the withdrawal. Check that the address is correct and you are using the same network, and click on withdrawal. With this, after a few minutes, you should be able to see the cryptocurrencies in your wallet or Exchange where you have sent it.
