Welcome to this post, where we are going to see how you can withdraw Solana to your wallet and use it in any exchange or DEFI platform like Raydium.
For this, we will use Binance and Sollet Wallet, Binance is the most used exchange that I personally use, but the operation is the same or very similar in other exchanges that you can use. If you want to follow the step by step guide, you can create an account with binance right below.
Platform: Binance
Min. deposit: $10
License: Cysec
Very low commissions
Exchange with more cryptocurrencies
Sollet is one of the main wallets on the Solana network. If you are familiar with the DEFI world, you may have used Metamask, but at the moment, this wallet does not work on the Solana network. Therefore, create an account with the Sollet wallet or other wallets that you can use on the Solana network, such as the Phantom wallet or the Coin98 wallet, among the most popular ones.
From Binance to Metamask in Solana
If you already have Solana purchased in your Binance account, the next step is to withdraw it to your wallet. To do this, go to wallet and spot wallet on your computer. If you are using your cell phone, search for the Solana cryptocurrency and click on withdraw or withdraw.
On the computer, in spot wallet look for Solana, and click withdraw. Now you will see the panel to withdraw the cryptocurrency. Here, we must open our wallet, either sollet or other, and click on the top, where it says Main account and you will see that the address of your wallet will be copied. You can also click on the Solana token, receive and copy the address of your wallet from there. With the copied address, go back to Binance and paste it where it says address.
We continue with Network, where we will indicate the SOL network, since it is the only network that will allow us to withdraw Solana in Binance, and the one we want to use. Withdrawing Solana in Binance has a commission of 0.01 and should arrive in a few minutes, as Solana is one of the fastest networks out there. Now we just need to indicate the amount we want to withdraw.
With the information confirmed and reviewed, such as address and amount, you just need to click on withdraw, confirm the confirmation codes and after a few minutes, you should see your Solana in your wallet.
Create a Sollet account
To create an account or wallet in Sollet, which is the wallet I use and the most used in the Solana network, go to sollet.io, and click on create an account. The operation is the same as any other wallet, where you will have to enter a password and you will receive a seed phrase.
Above all, securely store your seed phrase or recovery phrase, which you will then have to enter to activate your wallet. With this, you can find a Chrome extension to use sollet on platforms such as Raydium or Solfarm.
The operation is the same if you want to use a simpler and more intuitive wallet such as phantom or coin98. If you want to use NFT’s in Solana, my recommendation is to use Phantom or Sollet, as they are the most integrated in the main NFT’s platforms in Solana at the moment.
I hope this has helped you to withdraw your Solana without losing them along the way. Remember, if you don’t have an account with binance, you can create one just below.
