Solution KuCoin Channel Error 4002

Welcome to this tutorial, where we are going to see how you can solve the error 4002 that some users may encounter.

This error happens when trying to make a SEPA transfer in KuCoin. And it is an error that happens both on the web and on the mobile app. This type of error is only with SEPA transfers.

To solve it, what you should do is to use another payment method, either by debit or credit card. This problem appears when SEPA transfers are not enabled.

This is something we have seen in other exchanges that enabled SEPA transfers and had to disable them for a while due to regulatory issues. And the same is true for KuCoin. Therefore, I recommend you use another payment method, or make the SEPA transfer to another Exchange, and from that Exchange send the money to KuCoin, so you can deposit funds with this payment method.

My recommendation is to use Binance in this case, as they disabled the SEPA transfer for a while, but they put it back once they got the regulation for it. European regulation can sometimes be very complex and makes payment methods and their integration with platforms such as kucoin or similar, complicated.

I hope this has helped you to solve your doubts about channel error 4002. Remember that, if you don’t have an account with binance, you can create one just below.
