How to Withdraw Cosmos (ATOM) to your Wallet: Step by Step

Welcome to this post, where we are going to see how you can withdraw Cosmos to your wallet and use it in any exchange or DEFI platform.

For this, we will use Binance and Keplr, Binance is the most used exchange that I personally use, but the operation is the same or very similar in other exchanges that you can use and keplr is the main wallet of the Cosmos ecosystem. If you want to follow the step by step guide, you can create an account with binance just below.

Keplr is the most used wallet, and you can use the Cosmos network without problems, along with other networks in the same ecosystem that were developed based on Cosmos. Also if you use another wallet with the Cosmos network, you should not have any problems.

From Binance to Keplr on Cosmos

If you already have Cosmos purchased in your Binance account, the next step is to withdraw it to your wallet. To do this, we will go on the computer to wallet and spot wallet. In the case of using the mobile, search for the cosmos cryptocurrency and click on withdraw or withdraw. On the computer, under spot wallet search for Cosmos, and click on withdraw or withdraw.

Now you will see the panel to withdraw the cryptocurrency. Here, we must open our Keplr, and click on the top, under the name, where it will copy the address of our wallet.

With the copied address, we go back to Binance and paste it where it says address. If you make the withdrawal from your mobile, you can click on deposit and a qr code will appear to scan it and you can have the address of your wallet pasted directly.

We continue with Network, where we will indicate the Cosmos network, if you want to use Cosmos in its own network and in the Cosmos DEFI platforms.

Above all, make sure that you indicate the correct network to avoid confusion. With the network, you only need to indicate the amount you want to withdraw. In the case of the ATOM network, the withdrawal fee is 0.005 ATOM.

With the information confirmed, you only need to click on withdraw, confirm the confirmation codes and after a few minutes, you should see your Atom in your Keplr wallet to be able to use them.

If you want to know more about keplr and how this wallet works and staking your cryptocurrencies, I leave you a guide with more details here.
