How to Withdraw Ethereum from Binance and Vice Versa

Welcome to this guide, where we are going to see how you can withdraw your Ethereum from Binance to your metamask wallet, and the other way around. How you can send your ETH you have in metamask to Binance.

We are going to take a step by step detailed look at both routes, whether you want to withdraw or deposit, you can find the guide here. So I recommend you go straight to the part you are interested in.

We will look at the step-by-step using the computer, but we will also mention where to find what is different on the binance mobile app or metamask. But you will have no problem following the guide if you are using one of the mobile apps instead of the computer.

With that said let’s get started.

Send Ethereum to Metamask

If you already have Ethereum in your balance, the next step from the main panel is to withdraw it to your wallet. To do this, go to wallet and spot wallet on your computer. If you are using your mobile phone, search for the ETH cryptocurrency and click on withdraw/withdraw.

On the computer, go to spot wallet and here search for ETH, and click on withdraw or withdraw. Now you will see the cryptocurrency withdrawal panel.

The first thing we will have to indicate in this panel is the address where to withdraw our ETH, and to find that address we will open our metamask wallet. Here, you can click on the top below the name to copy the address. You can also use the qr code if you are using binance from your mobile. To display the qr in metamask, click on the 3 dots on the right hand side, and click on account details. And now you should see the qr that you can scan with the binance app to detect the address.

We go back to binance and paste the address we just copied.

We continue with Network, where we indicate the Ethereum network (ERC20), if what you want is to have ETH in its own network. If you want to use Ethereum on another network, select the other network.

Above all, check that you indicate the correct network. With the network, you only need to indicate the amount you want to withdraw. In the case of the Ethereum network, the withdrawal fee is 0.0012 ETH, currently less than $2. Although the commission varies and can be higher at the time you are making the withdrawal.

Finally, we have to indicate the amount of ETH we want to withdraw.

We review the information and we only need to click on withdraw, confirm the confirmation codes and in a short time we can have the Ethereum in our metamask wallet.

Deposit Ethereum at Binance

Let’s see the opposite case, where we will send the ETH we have in our wallet to Binance.

To do this, we will open metamask and select the Ethereum network if we don’t have it selected.

With the network selected, click on the ETH cryptocurrency or the one you want to withdraw, and then click on send.

With this, you will have to indicate the address where to send your ethereum. So we will have to go to Binance. In Binance, we will go to wallet and spot wallet from the computer. On the mobile, from wallet, click on deposit. On the computer, in spot wallet we will look for ETH and click on deposit.

Here, we select the Ethereum network.

Once you select it, you will be able to see the qr and the address to copy. We will copy the address and if you are using your mobile phone, you can scan the qr code.

Go back to metamask and let’s paste the address. And you will see the address you just pasted at the top. All you need to do is indicate the amount of ETH you want to withdraw. You will be able to use the max option if you want to withdraw all the Ethereum you have. Once you have indicated the amount, click on next.

Now we will look at the gas fee or transaction fee which is what you will have to pay in order to send ETH directly to binance using the Ethereum network. The gas fee can vary quite a lot and sometimes it can be small, but at other times it is a significant amount. And it will depend on the usage of the Ethereum network, so look for times when there is less usage of the network, especially in the evening or at meal times.

Just below the gas fee you will see the total cost with the withdrawal amount and the gas fee added together. We will review the data and click confirm to send the Ethereum to your Binance account.

And so, in a few minutes you will be able to see in your binance balance the ETH you have sent. In case of sending a large amount, I recommend you first send a small amount and once it arrives, send the rest, to check that everything is correct.

I hope you have found it useful to know how to send and withdraw Ethereum with binance and metamask step by step. Remember that, if you don’t have an account with binance, you can create one just below.
