How to get Avalanche (AVAX) for free | AVAX Faucet

Welcome to this guide, where we will look at a way to have Avalanche (AVAX) ratis that can be used to pay for gas fees when making a transaction.

In order to achieve this, we are going to use what is known in the crypto world as a faucet. What this gives us is usually in exchange for nothing or some small action that you can perform in a few seconds, a small amount of cryptocurrencies directly into our wallet. As you might think, it is a pretty small amount that we are going to get, although it is totally free. And it cannot be done more than once, or with bots, as the platforms have methods to avoid this type of problem.

AVAX Faucet

If we want to get Avalanche (AVAX) for free, we have to go to stakely.io/faucet, the place where we will find the faucet for this cryptocurrency. Here, we will be able to see all the different cryptocurrencies available for it, and you will also see some that are not available at the moment. This usually happens when the account runs out of new funds to continue distributing.

Let’s select AVAX by clicking on request. Next, you will see a good description of what a faucet is and we will indicate the address where you want to receive the AVAX. Then complete the recaptcha to verify that you are human, and click on verify. Next, we will publish a tweet, and you will be able to check the box to make your twitter name anonymous and not be seen or shared. Check the box if you want to, and click tweet. Check the box again, to indicate that you are using the faucet because you need gas fee, and click on tweet.

Finally, tweet and within a few seconds the transaction will be completed so that you can receive the tokens. You will also be able to see on the right side the different previous transactions, and see the amount you receive. It is as easy as clicking on the transaction ID and it will take you to the explorer, where you will see the amount you are sending in each transaction. This way, you will be able to calculate the amount you will receive and see if it will be enough for the cost of the transaction in gas fee.

Remember that what you will receive is very little, and it is only really worth it when you need it for a transaction and you can swap your tokens to have more AVAX and you will be able to make more transactions, or if you want to withdraw them to another wallet or Exchange.

Other alternatives

Sometimes you may find that the AVAX faucet is not available. If this is the case, my recommendation is to Google avax faucet to see if there are other alternatives available. Sometimes you will be able to find one, but in other cases there may not be any at the moment.

Therefore, my recommendation is to look in avalanche communities in your country or language to ask a user if they can send you a small amount of Avalanche and pay for the gas fee of the transaction you want, so you can move your funds on this network. You can even exchange for another cryptocurrency on another network you may have.

In this simple way, you will already have AVAX to pay for any transaction and move your funds or exchange them for AVAX to make more transactions. I hope this has been useful if you find yourself in this situation. Remember that if you don’t have an account with binance, you can create one just below.
