Where to buy Ergo
To get this token, we are going to use two platforms mainly, Binance and gate.io, where you can find a link a little bit below if you don’t have an account yet to follow each step. We are going to use Binance to deposit funds and send them to gate.io, as it is the most economical way we have found to deposit funds in gate.io. And once you have funds in gate.io, you can buy this cryptocurrency. As it is not yet available on Binance.Â
Step by Step
Ergo is not yet available on many other exchanges. Therefore, we have to use these two platforms. However, you will be able to find other platforms where this cryptocurrency is also available in the FAQ below.Â
The first step is to make a deposit into our gate.io account. To obtain funds in gate.io, the best and cheapest option is to send them from another exchange such as Binance, as the platform has higher fees for depositing funds by card or transfer. To do this, we will use Binance, and we will send USDT (Tether), as it is the cryptocurrency used to buy Ergo.
In our case, we already have USDT in our binance balance, but you can find a guide on how to get USDT here. With the usdt, we will go to wallet, spot wallet and click on withdraw.
Now, the next step is to go to gate.io, and go to deposit. Here, we will have to click on the tron/TRC-20 network, as it has the lowest commissions and only costs a dollar or less commission. We copy the address and go back to binance to paste it.
Once in binance, we must indicate the address, the same network, tron (trc-20) and the amount to withdraw the USDT. We confirm with our email and mobile, and that’s it. Remember that you must indicate the trc-20 network to avoid problems when sending your funds.Â

Now, just wait for the USDTs to arrive in your Gate.io balance. It usually takes a few minutes before they are available and ready to use. Once they arrive, go to wallet and spot account, search for USDT and click on trade.
You will see the panel for buying and selling cryptocurrencies. Here, search for ERG, and you will see the ERG/usdt pair.Â
We will scroll down and indicate the amount we want to buy from Ergo. Here, if you want to use all your usdt, simply click on the number above and the total will be placed. At the top of Price you will see the current price of the cryptocurrency. You can also enter the last price +1%, +3% or plus 5%. I recommend you to indicate the last price +1% so that the purchase is made instantly as you can see below. Otherwise, at the current price, it may take some time for the purchase to go through.
Once you have indicated the amount you want to buy, you only need to click on the buy button and enter your trade password to complete the purchase.
In this simple way, you will already have Ergo in your balance if you follow the steps we have seen.
To check it, it is as easy as going back to your wallet and spot account to see the amount you have. Just like that, in a few minutes you will have Ergo in your balance.
Once you want to sell it, just go back to the same panel as before, but this time we will go to the red sell part. Indicate the amount you want to sell, and click on Sell. This way, you will have USDT again and you can send it to Binance to withdraw it to your bank account.Â

In this guide we have seen how you can buy Ergo with Binance and Gate.io, but there are other platforms to buy this cryptocurrency. To find out where you can buy Ergo, it’s as simple as going to coingecko or coinmarketcap and searching for the cryptocurrency.
Once there, click on markets, and you will see all the platforms that have this cryptocurrency listed. To save you time, you can see the main platforms in the image below.Â
There are currently no platforms focused solely on buying and selling cryptocurrencies where you can deposit funds with PayPal. Therefore, the only way to buy ERGs with PayPal is by using a platform that has cryptocurrencies and other assets such as stocks.
The only platform we have been able to find with these features is eToro. Which allows you to deposit funds using paypal, although Ergo is not yet listed on this platform. And therefore, you will not yet be able to buy it on etoro. If you don’t have an etoro account, you can create one here.
Please note that on etoro you will not be able to withdraw ERG from the platform, as is the case on cryptocurrency platforms such as Binance, KuCoin or Coinbase.
To sell Ergo, it is really very simple. All you have to do is follow the same steps as we have seen when buying, but go to the red sell button.
Look for the ERG/USDT pair, and click on it. Go down the middle, and go to the red sell side. Enter the amount you want to sell Ergo and exchange for USDT. Click on sell and you are done. You will have sold your ERGs and you will have USDT again.
Now with the USDT, if you want you can exchange them for your currency and withdraw the money to your bank account, or use the USDT to buy another cryptocurrency.
To withdraw Ergo to your wallet, either in metamask or another wallet, you can follow the steps below:
- Go to wallet and wallet spot
- Search for ERG and once it appears, click on withdraw.
- Now you will see the Gate.io withdrawal panel.
- Open your wallet, and copy the address where you will send your tokens. In metamask, by clicking above under the name, you can copy the wallet address.
- Indicate the correct network where to send the tokens. It is the same network you use in the wallet.
- Enter the amount and check all the information.
- With everything correct, click on withdraw and confirm with the confirmation codes.
- Your ERG will be on its way to your wallet.

If you want to withdraw your funds to another platform, for example from Gate.io to KuCoin, the process is the same as we have seen in the wallet, with one difference.
In the step of opening the wallet to copy the address, in this case we must open the platform where we want to send the tokens. Here, click on deposit, and select Ergo. Select the network you want to use to send the cryptocurrency, and you will see the address to copy.
With the copied address, go back to Binance and paste it. Enter the same network as on the other platform. The rest of the steps are the same as we have seen when withdrawing to your wallet.
