How DigitalEyes Works

Welcome to this post, where we are going to see how DigitalEyes works, one of the main marketplaces for NFT’s in the Solana network.

With the explosion of NFT’s in Solana, different platforms have appeared, both for creators and buyers, to find the best collections of NFT’s in this network, and to be able to buy and sell as easily as possible.

In DigitalEyes you can buy any NFT for sale with a wallet compatible with the Solana network. If you don’t have a wallet I recommend using phantom, as it is the simplest and most intuitive.

What is DigitalEyes

DigitalEyes is an NFT’s marketplace based on the Solana network. According to them, it is the first open NFT’s Marketplace in Solana. Here, you will be able to find the most popular main collections on this network, as well as new releases, and collections that are not so well known yet.

The operation is quite simple, especially if you have used other NFT’s marketplaces, as it doesn’t have many different functionalities, apart from buying and selling, and some other options that we will now see.

Home

When you enter their official website, you will be able to see different collections, where you will find the latest listings, the ones that are trending and the most popular verified collections of the Marketplace.

It’s a way to see the collections that are currently the most popular, without having to browse through more than 1,000 listed collections out there. It is also important to mention that most of the most popular collections are also found on NFT’s other marketplaces.

Explore

Explore, along with the search engine, is the way to find new, lesser known collections. Where you can find all the collections sorted, and see a long list of all of them.

One of the main problems I can find, currently there are no filters. The only thing you can use is the name of the collection to find it. But there are no other ways to filter and be able to search by different variables the collections in the Marketplace.

How to Buy NFT’s

To buy your first NFT’s in this Marketplace, you must first connect your wallet at the top of the platform. Click on connect wallet and that’s it. If you don’t know how to deposit solana in your wallet, I left you a guide here.

With solana in your wallet, and your wallet connected, the next step is to find the collection you are interested in and the NFT you want to buy. Before clicking on the NFT, there is relevant information to look at within the collection.

The metrics it shows you are the Price floor, which is the lowest price for which you can buy an NFT from this collection, the volume that this collection has had, if it is very high the better, as it means that there is interest for this collection and highest sale or the sale that has been paid the most for an NFT from this collection. These are aspects to consider before choosing the NFT, along with the price to see if it is a good offer or not.

Also, within the collection the platform does have filters. On the right you can filter by price, and in advanced filters, you can filter by different attributes that are in each collection. So you can search for rarer NFT’s or with a specific characteristic.

Once you have chosen the NFT, click on it. In the NFT tab, you can find a brief description of the project, the sales history and all transactions of this NFT that have been made. Where you can see the last price for which it was sold. And in attributes that this NFT has in your collection. Finally if we go down, you can see the mining ID, and see all the transactions of this collection in the Solana explorer.

Click on buy for X SOL, and confirm in your metamask wallet. In this simple way, you have already bought your NFT and you can go to sell to see the NFT you have bought. Also, if you use the phantom wallet, you can see it in the collections section.

Sell

From sell, you can put your wallet up for sale, indicating the price and confirming the transaction in your wallet. If your NFT is sold, you will receive directly the amount you have indicated in SOL to your wallet, subtracting the Marketplace commissions.

You can sell NFT’s in the Marketplace, but you must mine your collection in another platform. Because this Marketplace does not have options where you can mine your own collection.

In the collections you will see a tick that says Verifeyed. This does not mean that the platform has verified the artists or project behind it, but only verifies the mining hash, or basically that the information about the collection is true, regarding the number of mined NFT’s indicated by the team of that collection.

The other aspect of verified, is the Top DigitalEyes Verifeyed Collections, which basically are the collections that have sold the most within the platform.

Launchpad

Launchpad is a launchpad for new collections of NFT’s within the Marketplace. Here you can mine the NFT’s if they are not sold out, and once they are all mined, you can sell them or buy them in the Marketplace, if you didn’t have the opportunity to mine them.

Just head over to the launchpad part of the menu below, and you can see if there are any collections currently available for mint, or what the next one will be. I recommend you to check their twitter or telegram account for new collection releases and to be able to attend the minecraft.

The price for minting a NFT is very variable, and depends on each collection. To mint, if you can access a release, simply click on mint, confirm in your wallet and that’s it. This way, you will have the NFT in your wallet, and once all the units have been minted, you can sell it in the Marketplace itself.

I hope this has helped you to know how one of the main NFT’s marketplaces in Solana works. Remember that if you don’t have an account with binance, you can create one just below.
